The Full Term Debate: I hear many medical professionals say full term is 38 weeks, but I also hear some say 37. I know it's just a one week difference, but which one is it? I don't want to walk around at 37 weeks saying I'm full term and I end up sounding like a fool lol

my Dr says 40 is full term

@nevahsatisfied I was thinking that too because there has been way too many answers, but I think 39 would make sense. And maybe some babies get finished baking early at 37-38 weeks lol

I was told by my obgyn that full term is 37 weeks. Perhaps it varies by doctor.

I read that 37-38 0 days is called "term" and 39-40 0 days is full term
