I'm actually just using inserts in pockets. I don't have any prefolds. But maybe I'll buy some and try that trick! I'll have to get some bigger sleepers, though. I can barely close a 12mo sleeper over his butt with a single insert in a pocket--baby got back!

Yep bamboo nature from Amazon. I have read all about them. @ciraclesmiracle, what kind of prefolds do u use bc I started with gmd but have switched to diaper rite I just love them they r slightly cheaper sold in a 6pk and hold well after about 10washes. I recently got ozo cozy I haven't started on his bum yet they u getting broken in by being burp rags for now. Try to inserts n a pocket and a prefold folded like diaper with snappi under I bet he can go all night.

Ooooh! That's good to know! The nights I tried to get him through the night with a cloth I used 2 inserts, but it just wasn't enough! I found a brand of diapers that's truly biodegradable and chemical free (they're called Bambo Nature), so maybe I'll try after I get through this box @txyogagirl,

@ciraclesmiracle, I just seen this post u know I have never had a blow out at night but I use a pocket diaper as a cover empty a lot but at night I put 2 inserts in pocket then a prefold with boingo over and let me tell ya I save myself a lot of sleep I used to change Luke all in the night like 5 times on average but now I do this and he can go night till morn with no problems he needs a giant pj and a looser snap but that's ok.

@kreese88, I use Seventh Generation or Honest Co. this one was a Seventh Generation. Maybe I should buy the overnights next time.

@withlovedkj, I think babies know when we're in a hurry, and they decide that's the perfect moment to poop, spit up or get hungry! 😝😂😒

Try a name brand diaper st night too, they are known to hold more also. Like a Huggies or pampers. The generic diapers don't hold well over night, in my experience at least.

@kreese88, I'm thankful to have a washer, even though I hate doing laundry! He's already in size 4 diapers... what the heck!?!? I usually cloth diaper, and I've never had a blowout, but I put him in a disposable overnight because he's a heavy wetter. Just my luck that he had a poop explosion while he was in my bed 😡

That has happened to me pretty frequently this month! It happens as soon as I go to leave out for work. 😑

This is why I'm so great full to have a washing machine, I hate these but when I went up a size in diapers it helped a lot.
