It's just not safe. There are other ways to bundle your little one up in the cold.

No disrespect to you @jleightutt but my son doesn't like them covers so this is the Only option that works for us .

We got one of these papoose things for our trip to New York. It was amazing! It fits inside a stroller or car seat and allows the baby to stay cozy without buckling over a coat.
