Am I the only one who can't master how to cook rice ? 🙈😭 my rice always looks like mashed potatoes

Move it around til the rice starts changing color a bit not like a lot but a bit and THEN you put the water? @ellamas,

I do that @amy_vanessa, and still nothing. I'm the person who can measure everything and do it perfectly step by step and still screw it up. And my husband loves rice 😭

I couldn't figure it out either and my uncle told me it's a 2:1 ratio. 1cup rice 2 cups water

I do the same thing-use my finger to measure the water @kambam, My mom boils her rice and it is always perfect.

lol too much water. touch your first finger to the rice, water should go up to the first line on your finger. I bring it to boil then cook it on low with a lid until done
