So, my water just broke during sex, I'm scheduled for csection in like 4 hrs, should I wait, or go to the hospital now?…

why are you having a csection?

I'd go in. maybe they could get u in sooner. I was always told to go in right away if ur water breaks because you're more prone to infection.

Lay there for a a few minutes and keep a timer and see if your stomach is tightening and releasing , you can have contractions and not feel them

A lot can happen in 4 hours. I'd go now

I've always heard you go as soon as your water break

Your at risk for easier infection after your water breaks. You need to go now he can sleep at the hospital or go by yourself and have him come later. You need to go asap

You need to go in once your water breaks, you may not be feeling how strong your contractions are. Baby is exposed to getting infected as well as you ! Wake him up, your health and babies is way more important than his beauty sleep. @nicolelynn1992

@sammiee0422 I'm having tolerable ones now, painful, but tolerable. I'm bout to wake him up. not like I'll be able to sleep those couple hrs anyways

Its better for you to be monitored, cause what if you wait it out and you dilate to a 10 faster than you think ? Just play it safe for you and baby. @nicolelynn1992

@sammiee0422 I agree. I told him we should go the second it broke, but because with my second child the same thing happened, and I didn't realize it was my water til the next day, he keeps insisting we have time

Every pregnancy is different though, doctors recommend you go in right after your water breaks. @nicolelynn1992

Keep bugging him if you have to. Have you been checked for dilation already ?

@sammiee0422 just started timing them. they're 3 mins apart. definitely going in. with or without him.
