Just been thinking about parenting things. Is it wrong that I don't want to lie to my daughter about Santa, Tooth Fairy and all that? :/ I know it's fun and all, I guess...I just don't want to lie to her about things. I never believed in them, personally. Just wondering thoughts..

We don't teach our kids about any of that. But we teach them to respect the other kids that do. It's all about personal preference. My kids get gifts and they know the true meaning of Christmas. So they aren't missing out on anything

My mom never taught us about those things and I never felt she took away from my childhood! My sisters felt the same way! I actually appreciate her being honest. I know til this day she never lied to us, and think of her as someone honest :)

I'm not going to teach my daughter about those things. I don't like to lie and don't want to lie to her. I always want her to know I've been honest with her.
