I've been pumping every 2 hours and my supply isn't increasing. in fact most of the time between both breasts I barely get an ounce. help me please!?? any suggestions?I'm pumping because baby boy no longer latches and I'm not ready to give up on milk.
That's good. Yes just go in and see what they say. Hopefully all goes good 😄 @pambays
ya I'm calling tomorrow. last time iwasbin he was still latching good. we were the last ones there after closing so we weighed him before and after feeding for fun and he drank 2 oz from the boob lol @sammiee0422
Maybe try a lactation consultant or if you wic you can always go in and see what they say @pambays
I try for every 2-2.5 hours but if I fall asleep with little one sometime we go to 3.5 before he even starts making hungry noises
@sammiee0422 we are still trying to latch it just gets stressful for both of us
An ounce is enough for a newborn baby. Don't give up on getting baby to latch. Your supply will come. But an ounce every 2 hours is enough. Babies tummy isn't that big just yet @pambays
lactation cookies and talk to your local La Leche League.
2 cup oats
1 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup ground flax seed
1 / 4 cup chia seeds
3/ 4 cup honey
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
optional ingredients
1 cup chocolate chips
2 teaspoon brewers yeast
1 scoop protein powder
if adding optional ingredients increase honey and peanut butter
mix in bowl and roll into balls on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper and let set in fridge. I also store them in the fridge so they don't get sticky.
thanks! @sammiee0422
