Need some help from mommies that gave birth to big babies. Even though I am 1 myself My youngest weighed 9lbs at birth but no growth scan was ever done with him. I just want to know what did you GYN do for you knowing you were carrying a bigger baby. (INDUCTION, schedule c-section etc)
My son was 10lb 1.5oz and I delivered vaginally. He did get stuck at shoulders and we were surprised he didn't break those bones. I should've probably has a c-section to be safe but I was stubborn. I was induced in my 39th week due to his size.
Lol yea I don't blame you! I got lucky with my daughter only being 6lbs 9oz but my epidural didn't work at all so I was pretty much going natural (not my choice) lol but if your doc already knows your baby is gonna be big I'm sure they will work with you on your birth plan😊
I've heard of women being too small or the baby being too big for them to deliver and they end up getting a c section. I would talk with her dr about your options so you know what to expect when the time comes 💕
Hopefully it's different for my things didn't go so well with my son when I gave birth to him from him being soo big. They are predicting this baby to be bigger. I can't handle that lol
Mine always measured big so they were 39 week inductions and delivered vaginally. One of them did get stuck briefly, his shoulders were stuck, but he ended up being fine. The other issue I had was with my biggest (9.6 pounds) I stopped dilating once I hit 9cm and because of his size he caused me to swell instead of dilate and he was almost a csection but I was finally able to relax enough for a few contractions it allowed my body to finish dilating.
