Yeah, we're over feeding them when they do that that's why I just stick to 4oz. And then let him eat off the boob. ( I typically breastfeed, at night I supplement a little to know he's getting a solid 4oz. I'm still trying things. Pacifier, rocking, I've found white noise to be most effective.

I'm going through the same thing. Even if I make sure he gets 4oz at night he still wakes up when I put him down and acts still hungry but if I give him more he throws it up. But even with 4-5oz he is still up 2-3 hrs. I figure it must be normal. They say not to do rice yet the baby can't break it down yet. And it's not always a guarantee. A full stomach doesn't guarantee sleep.

@jadefamous, try 6.5 he might be going through a growth spurt cause that's how my daughter is now 6oz

I do give him about 6 ounces of milk and it doesn't work he's still hungry and doesn't sleep 😩@jlf240

Formula should take longer for a baby to digest. Maybe try giving him a little more and see if that holds him over for longer. Usually adding rice isn't recommended until 4 months or after.

Feeding every 2-3 hours is normal

put just a very little spoon full of baby cereal in his milk ! we did that & it works wonders.
