how fat do you live from the hospital? whose car is it? I heard that labor takes for ever... early labor from like 6 to 8 hours before you can even push. I'd make him talk to him boss so his boss know at a drop of a dime he has to leave. if you to have to call the ambulance if baby comes to fast, your insurance that is covering your birth would cover the ride also.

He is just paying rent that is it.

I personally think a roommate needs to help with chores. But I guess the bus will do for me.

if he's your roommate and he's paying some of the bills.. isn't it essential for him to have a job? I'm just saying... maybe he can start taking the bus to work if there is one for the time being but still...

I was in active labor for 8hrs before going to the hospital. So maybe compromises?? Maybe somebody can drop her off or have her tell the boss the situation so if she has to leave work early then she maybe can??? Idk...I'm not going thru what u are so maybe its bad advice..Just giving u suggestions
