yea, that's what some family said. that he was fishing to see if I'd be like "oh it was my fault". I'm so upset someone would do that. After all of this, they want to try to pin it on me? Not like I have enough going on:/

With everything that happened to you, I'd have them retest because now they're gonna say it was your fault. I would speak up if I was you because it seems they are trying to put the blame on you and that's not right

Some medicines contain alcohol. I would mention any type of meds you have taken.

Well ide see about having them re test you and explain to them that despite not overly using those items, you still have used them. Sometimes tests can give false negatives or positives it does happen. And if you truly know you dont drink and they agree to re test then just dont use any of those items!! And you should be fine. Shit the hospital couldnt even give me an answer to a rupture test LOL...so shit happens but ide try to get re tested if your really worried about it.

Last week when I went in with contractions, I had to of course pee. Today when I went to get my staples removed, the doctor told asked if I drank at all. I of course have never because I don't believe in drinking when pg. But the test came back positive.

I've heard a lot about hand sanitizers and cleaning stuff, but I would think you'd have to use quite a bit to actually have anything come back positive. Which I have always used those items, not overly done, but all the times before they never came back positive. It makes no sense to me.

I broke down because now that's on everything and because I'm now a high risk, doctors will see that. I don't want them thinking I'm an alcoholic or abuse while carrying a child.

Well unfortunately I dont know the situation...but I will say that ive heard that there is always that CHANCE that if you use a large amount of sanitizer with alcohol in it or use a lot of household products that contain alcohol that it can cause you to get a false positive in testing for alcohol in your system but thats just what ive HEARD. But youd have to use a pretty decent anount to fail it to a certain point and I THINK if ive heard correctly they could re test and see if thats what it was but not totally sure.
