Are there any moms that are Latina marry to an American? My husband and I are struggling with last names. Like in Hispanic culture it's normal to have two last names and my husband doesn't agree to it. He says if we have two last name then his last name has to be last. But my name before marriage it was my daddies last name first and then my mother maiden last name before marriage. How u guys deal with this situation?

I gotcha. use your last name as the middle last name.

Yes it is my last name. And his last name would be the main last name I'll use. I just don't want to get rid of my other last name. @heatherlg88

yeah, I guess if you've always had it it wouldn't be confusing. didn't really think about it. I would let ur hubby's last name be last. is your hubby's last name your last last name?

@heatherlg88, it wasn't confusing to me. I grew up with both last name and my parents taught me to write my whole name.

They only use the 2 last names in Mexico but not here. I'm Mexican and I always used my dads name only. My Fiancé used to use both but when he became a US citizen he they dropped his second last name.
