@bonniesue, I haven't had my son yet so I was wondering

Not every baby eats every 2 hours.

You're not supposed to let them go more than 4 hours without eating at night. So if it's been more than 4 hours I would wake him up. My baby is such a deep sleeper at night I usually have to wake him up to feed. Lately I'll set an alarm for every 3 hrs but now he wakes up right before my alarms about to go off lol.

My son always woke up and ate when he was hungry. Is your baby not gaining weight or the doctor say your baby had to eat every 2 hours? If not let baby sleep

I would say let the baby sleep and if you feel engorged just pump :)
