I haven't ate in days and I'm so hungry I wanna cry... I hate being homeless

@pinkleopard, yes I've talked to the housing authority in a couple city's near by each one has like a 2 year waiting list and nothing moves us up on the list...

@babyeitrem, damn ya that is dumb when people need help and they don't help. how long have u been homeless. have u tried the local housing authority to see the housing programs they have for veterans.

@pinkleopard, we have I've been trying to get more help and it's an uphill battle because they tell us to go to the VA Hospital and the hospital tells us to contact the food banks and homeless shelters

@babyeitrem, call churches and food banks in your area tell them your pregnant and your situation someone should help. no family will help you guys.

@babyeitrem, that is complete bullshit go up the trail and talk to a supervisor and if that does not work talk to their supervisor. Do you get WIC.

@pinkleopard, that's what I'm saying I have been fighting to get help since I currently can't work and they won't help

because my meds alone are 300 a month and I need them to stay alive I wasn't employed long enough to get any sort of leave and what income we have barely covers enough we only have 100 for food a month and it is the end of the month I haven't ate so that my daughter can eat does that makes since? @princessqueen

@babyeitrem, but u just said u was homeless so ? How do you guys not have the money for food ? And u only 34 weeks pregnant u take maturity leave after u delivery not before ? And if he a disabled veteran then he should have some type of assistance off the back

@princessqueen, he makes enough to pay what bills we have we only make 1200 a month he has a appointment Thursday to review his case with the VA Hospital

@pinkleopard, yes I'm on the housing list and only get food stamps which they are ending tomorrow... I've been trying to get everything to them but I have to talk to a specific person and can't get ahold of him..

@babyeitrem, have you tried to get government assistance to help out

@princessqueen, my husband is a disabled vet. so he can't work and I got put on bed rest and didn't work at my employer long enough to get maternity leave.
