The fear I feel for delivery day... π© why? Women were made to do this. Women's bodies were made to birth babies and handle all aspects of it so why am I so scared? And what even am I scared of!? I feel like all of it scares me. What if my body fails? What if I can't deliver naturally? I don't want to let my son down. This anxiety is so ridiculous! I'll be in a great hospital surrounded by my high risk team I need to focus on the positives and see how fortunate I am but I can't stop feeling scared.

You will kick butt !! I was TERRIFIED of labor..the epidural..everything. I was surprised at how naturally it all came.
I think every mom is scared. Especially the first time. I know I'm completely petrified because I don't know what to expect. For me it's the unknown. I don't know how much pain I'm going to be in. I don't know how this baby is going to fit out of me. I don't know if I'll have any complications. That scares the hell out of me. It doesn't make a difference that my body is made to do this, that I'll be surrounded by doctors who can intervene, or that I can get pain medicine to not feel it. I'm still scared to death. You're not alone momma π

as long as the baby comes out I don't see how you can fail :) birth obviously does not go how we want it to all the time and I have bad anxiety about it too. I think I'm more scared to be a mom than I am to give birth lol. it'll all be ok ! at the end of the day you'll have your little babe in your arms and no matter how it happens it'll be worth it.
