so,me and my boyfriend had sex this morning and about 45 minutes later I went to get the bathroom and to get ready to shower because I have an ob appointment this morning and I was having bright red blood and mucus discharge.. I didn't have a bloody show or anything like that with my first so,does it sound like my bloody show or just irritation from sex?

If it looked like bloody snot, it was your mucus plug. Mine came out after sex with my husband at 35 weeks. I went to labor and delivery because I couldn't tell if I was leaking water or not afterwards. I was dilated to a 3. But we're at 37 weeks now and baby is still in me!

it could be mucous plug 🙂 ask ur doc and he/she could tell

I had this happen when I went into labor with my 3rd. I was going in for an ultrasound and schedule a induction. I kept bleeding and contractions started at the observation office. they sent me to l&d and ï mister 6 hours lat3r
