hello, my daughter is 14 months ever since she was 11 months she started to do a humping motion on specifically her bottles, most of the time when she is tired and I know it's normal for children her age but this time she wouldn't take the correcting she just went right back to it and this time she was making grunting noises and continued for almost an hr non stop. when we finally yelled at her she turned and screamed and just continued... I guess my questions are is she humping? if so how to effectivly correct her?
yeah I've noticed whenever I tell her not to do something she continues to do that very same thing. Besides that she has never seen or heard of anything inappropriate we made sure of that and we never had anybody watch her not even for an hour I'll just take her in and see exactly what she is doing thank you for everybody's comments it helped a lot
yeah also if they kno u dont like it they will continue
kids will do what they're told not to. Have you tried redirection?
im still confused i guess ill have to see to understand cause i never heard anything like it . like the humping yeah but not repeatedly...than making noises yeah keep there self occupied other than that im lost
all the time as in how long she been doing this? she prolly got it from somebody else if shes been around somebody else without ur supervision.
it wouldn't be Cuz we were always with her she has never watched or been with anyone rlse
she doesn't have a rash or anything, i thought maybe it's because of her itching but she does this all the time repeatingly
My kid has never "humped" anything. They are 5 and 2. They have never seen me and there dad either and they have been with us everyday there whole lives. I would be concerned that she has seen something, maybe under the supervision of someone else. I know kids have coping mechanisms. but I don't think humping and grunting is one of them.
u might wanna call doctor or check her diaper this dont sound normal
it is not normal for her to be humping that young, maybe she's doing something else. maybe her pee pee hurts, does she have a infection? kids start humping like three an up,
grunting noises, and just continuing not she won't stop. me and my husband have never done anything in front of her ever not movies nothing.
wat kind of noises ? and is she putting her self asleep or jus being annoying with it?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Please don't take this the wrong way but it sounds like she may have A .seen something inappropriate or B. someone God forbidden may have touched her. I am speaking from experience my friend's daughter is 2 1/2 was humping the chair at her child care kept acting out sexually. Found out that she was sexually abuse. I agree with the other ladies please contact her pediatrician. This is definitely Not normal behavior. I wish you nothing but the best good luck.
