so, when I was in labor my cervix wouldn't dilate. so, I had the pain of 8m dilated without being dilated. they said my cervix had damage and will not open on it's own. So, for like 10 hours, no one believed that I was in crazy labor because my cervix would not budge. it wasn't until they hooked me up to the monitor. the midwife apologized because she thought I was being dramatic and she had sent me home while I was immense pain. I got an epidural before 4cm dilated.
