Do not hold it because you're nervous to go. That will make it worse. Go when you have to and follow all the good advice you were given above 👆
Yeah I had stitches and one hemorrhoid I was nervous it was going to tear the skin again and my stitches would be messed up but never happened I healed up nicely. Just don't strain it'll come. Also use the preparation h pads they give you and that spray that makes you numb it all helps in the process!

Did they give you the dermoplast spray? If so, spray that on your stitches before you go to help numb it. I only had one stitch and it was on the inside so I didnt have to worry about that, but I did have an internal hemorrhoid. Just take your time and don't push too hard! Witch hazel pads help as well to help with the pain.

@anmlopez, @scurlock.mommy I had some stool softener but the stitches is what scare me and the hemoroid

Definitely keep hydrated! A lot of women get constipated after birth, but it was actually the opposite for me. 😅 Your doctor should prescribe you stool softeners, though! It's honestly not that bad.
I was scared too.. they gave me a laxative and that didn't work so I just didn't even think about it lol. 4 days later I ended up finally going and it was fine I didn't need to push hard or anything just was normal.. keep hydrated and don't stress :)
