Found out I was 3 cm & 50 % effaced today at my appointment ! I have been having period like cramps ever since my cervix was checked ! I'm quite sure this is normal , but is it helping me dilate in any way ?

I was told the cramps could mean progression as well

@teee, my doctor said that when yoy have menstrual feeling cramps that it is your cervix dilating or thinning out. I'd ask your doctor a out it.

I've been having cramps since I was last checked as well hopefully that rubs off on me too for some dilation.
