Help !! My nipples are so cracked from wrong latching from breastfeeding, should I get her formula meanwhile I let my nipples heal? Or will that confuse the baby the next time I try to breastfeed?

Breast milk will heal your nipples faster than nipple cream. Squeeze a little bit out and rub on your nipples and let them air dry. But yes invest in a nipple shield. My daughter didn't take one and had a bad latch for about a week and my nipples were extremely sore but then it got so much better. Just hang in there. It's worth it.
Yes. Try a nipple shield. I started out with one because my baby didn't want to latch on without one at first, and not once did they ever crack or bleed or anything. Sore, yes. But that's it. Push through it and don't give up!!

Stick with breastfeeding and invest in a nipple shield. The first few weeks are by far the most difficult. I never used any nipple cream but please do if it helps. Power through and you won't regret it!
Get some nipple cream and use it after every feeding and it will help. I don't remember the brand I got but I got it from babies r us and it was the only one they had. I'm not sure about the confusing baby part. Maybe someone else will comment that knows! I hope you heal up soon! 💕
