Full term pregnancies

Are doctors really still telling people that 37-38 weeks is full term???? ACOG and SMFM both define full term as 39-40 weeks. 37-38 is term. 41-32 is late term. Babies born at 37+ weeks are almost always just fine but there are clearly researched benefits to going to 39-40.

Thoughts on waiting another year to start daughter in preschool.

Our district doesn’t have a spot at the moment. So we have to find a preschool ourselves. We applied to Headstart but we make too much money so lower income families get first spots. But both districts have her at the top of their waiting list above others because she needs/receives speech therapy therefore they want the grant money that comes along with her being enrolled. Up early still reeling from my last OB appointment. My MIDWIFE tried to force me into a cervical exam and Pap smear. 1) I just met you lady. You are not sticking your fingers inside of me. 2) they are both COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY have been known to cause miscarriages at my stage in pregnancy and offer zero benefits whatsoever. These "abnormal cells" that could show up in them are actually normal during pregnancy and can change throughout. They are invasive, UNNECESSARY and its rude to even ask me...

This releasing EBT benefits for February is not going to be good for some people I see. Smh. Snacks galore, someone said they going to get their 1 yr child a 5 tier bday cake with the extra benefits and someone is having a seafood party for all her friends 😒 umm for one it's not extra, its for February dumb dumbs so you might want to save it for next month. Sheesh.
