Hi breastfeeding mamas! My LO is 8 months and he is EBF. Lately he's been pooping only once a day or once every other day. Yesterday it was three days w/out a poop! I'm worried if he is getting enough to eat? He's not interested in solids either. He does have 4-6 wet diapers a day. Do any of you have experience with this?

yes as long as he is keeping weight. some babies really just arent interested in solids and thats fine as long as hes happy.

I know that EBF babies don't always poop everyday. My LO goes a day or so without pooping. It just means they're digesting the food slower and consuming more nutrients and fat from your milk. 🤗 Having plenty of wet diapers and healthy weight gain you should good! 😉
4 days and still no poop. And he is so miserable today. I feel like he's too little for a suppository or however you spell it. Have any of you other mommas given one to your babies this early?
No poop for 4 days? My baby is 4 months ebf. Usually he pooped once or twice a day but now it's been 4 days and no poop. He doesn't seem uncomfortable and he's passing gas. Should I be concerned?
My 6 month old hasn't pooped in 6 days. He's bf but I've been letting him try fruits like apple, blueberry, and banana out of a pulp feeder. I have given him pear juice the past 3 days like an ounce a day. He keeps passing gas but no poop and I can tell he is uncomfortable. Any suggestions? Dr just said juice and wait it out.
My week old boy seems to be having issues pooping. he pushes for like ten minutes and only poops once or twice a day.

Thx ladies. Yes he seems very happy and content. Hopefully he shows an interest in solids. I get tired being the only one who can feed him cuz he's refusing the bottle. He will take small sips from a cup so I'm working with him on the cup!
