What's everyone's opinion on breastfeeding and formula? Like breastfeed but after still give them formula to too them off. Idk trying to explore my options

your baby is still very young, I didn't start feeding mine until they were a few months so I don't think I got the complete newborn experience.....but between 2 and pumping now, idk what time to myself means anymore! hehehe But some ppl say mixing the 2 is hard on baby's tummy....but you might not run into that issue. Also if you supplement it can lower your supply because right now what baby is doing is regulating you milk, but again some ppl this does not affect. @dani4269
@scidg3, that's exactly what my baby does on random occasions. I do pump. I sometimes need to upkeep on my house and amongst other things. It's very challenging. I try to keep up with my niece and nephews. I figured she's hungry and wants to eat. And she would fall asleep in my arms I'd lay her down and not even 5 minutes she would wake up right away. It was all day. She's been asleep finally after using my emergency supplement milk. Sometimes it's a struggle of wanting time to myself
I agree with ya, it can be hard, overwhelming and several other things....I don't know your situation, but maybe you could pump or supplement because my experience, baby will snack and then an hour later want a full meal or snack again.....what if your baby snacks and is hungry an hour later and you can't feed again. At that age they cry for a reason. Think about your options and what fits your lifestyle and go with it. @dani4269

@cubanese, it's very hard for me to leave my lil one to cry for so long and the cries seem to get more harsh after 10 minutes. What do I do when she's going crazy? Yes this is my first baby and I'm trying to not freak out when she cries
@allisonlmilpalm, I'm sorry to hear that. Scary that you past that much down that's scary. I just get scared sometimes that she's not getting all that she needs.

if i tell wic in pumping and formula will they give me a pump or formula? not sure if i should tell them both or if im just formula feeding
Adding cereal to your baby's formula , did it help them sleep longer at night ?
Does anyone give their baby 6 months up water at night instead of formula ....so it teaches them to sleep through the night

Also, for one of mine, she just started taking to bfing so what I do for her is feed off breast one feeding (lot of the time she snacks) and then give her a bottle the next feeding and alternate between the 2 @dani4269
