I really hope that is how it is.. I googled it in Illinois the courts don't favor joint (50:50) custody they think what's best for the child... hopefully that's true... @andrewsmommy
Mmmm so that why show the court he isn't stable of having 5050 and if they decide to give him visitation it most likely will be supervised visitation where his mom or dad will have to be with him everytime he gets your daughter or a social worker will be with them and he will only be able to see her at the court in a mediation room and spend time with her there.
Well he doesn't have a clean record he assaulted a police officer. He also assaulted and threatened me when I was pregnant telling me to abort my daughter or else so I had to get a no contact order (not active anymore) he goes out and drinks all the time even when he has his other daughter, hasn't provided one thing for my daughter, wouldn't help me when we were together... like he's an overall bad guy and terrifies me. @andrewsmommy
They might give him 5050 if he has a clean record, isn't abusive towards her, isn't abusing drugs and is stable meaning house and a job. They'll ask you for any proof of that. if you can't prove hes abusive, on drugs, homeless and jobless then they'll just ask why you want full custody
