When did you all transition baby from sleeping in a bassinet in the room with you to the crib? And how? And tips and tricks and advice welcome!!

I used a bassinet for month one, then pack and play for month two and month three she was in her crib. I started putting her in her crib after month 1 for naps to get her used to it
for the first 2-3 months I slept with baby on the couch then I just left him in the crib. picked him up if he cried for 15 mins then I'd check if he needed anything and laid him back down. I had it easy
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

newborn to about 4 months she slept in our room but since she started sleeping through the night at 2 months we just started doing naps here and there maybe the occasional night. then strictly naps by 3 months and started to add nights by 4 months.
