Okay ladies, I have a couple of questions:
1. what should you have to bring baby out of the hospital? We have a newborn isofix car seat but it doesn't have a carry handle... do I need to get one? it was my choice to have a car seat as just a car seat and it's brand new for newborns, so can I carry the baby out to the car? could I use a pram to get from hospital to car?
2. Baby is measuring too big and they're doing a scan on Monday, and I'm having glucose testing for GD - does this indicate I could be induced early? or a case of wait and see?
3. Raspberry leaf tea/capsules/teabags?! which is best? where do I get them from? and how often should I drink/take them?
Thanks in advance! xxx
Thank you for all your advice @winterbaby95 , I didn't get a notification for some reason! Do you think raspberry tea is better as tea leaf or tablet form? a toned uterus is a good uterus haha. xx
As for raspberry tea...I think you can get it almost anywhere...:) It aids in toning the uterus..essentially making labour faster but wont bring labour on :) xx
I personally think handles on car seats are essential especially for young babies...also if you happened to be in a accident...the handle would protect bubs (if the car seat happened to roll turn over etc) xx
Yes, you can use the carrycot part of the pram on journey from hospital to car :) Hmm a car seat with a handle may be better Xx
Baby can basically be in whatever you wish to have them in :) But there's a few guidelines...babies must not wear snow suits or pram suits in the car seat as it reduces the safety :) But instead bundle baby up in thin layers and put a Cardigan and blanket on bubs :) you can also pre run the car to make sure it is warm for when bubs is placed in :) xxx
@newmommyapril I dont have experience in using it but a few girls on her have xx
