Has anyone had the blood test that tells gender and it be wrong?

I had mines done at 12 weeks came back saying a girl and when I got my 20 weeks ultrasound it was definitely a girl :) hope that helps! sometimes they may can be wrong but I've always heard they are very accurate !

It it's wrong it's because they didn't read it right lol I blood work can't be wrong. They look for the Y chromosome..... since we are all female, we don't have it, so if they find a Y chromosome, it means it's a boy. And if they don't find a Y chromosome, it means it's a girl (the same chromosomes as you).

But mine was correct. It's a girl.

It is possible. Just because your result comes back without an X chromosome doesn't mean you're having a girl. It could mean you just didn't have enough. That's why I didn't get excited until my 20 week scan and I told the tech to zoom in and verify. Lol 98% chance of a girl but not 100%

I did lol! I was 10 weeks and couldn't wait to find out! it said I was having a girl! I was super happy, my boy and girl then weeks go by I get an ultrasound and it's a boy

There was a girl on here who's blood work said girl but her ultrasound definitely showed a boy. I haven't heard anything from her since so I'm not sure what happened with that
