So I saw this picture last night that said "if you formula feed your baby, you are a selfish c*nt"
I'm getting SO tired of this "breast is best" "formula fed is bad" fight...
Yes, we can all agree that breast is 100% best!!!!! I'm NOT saying it isn't because it IS, but some mothers (such as myself) didn't get a chance to breastfeed. It's NONE of your business if a woman chooses to formula feed her child because of whatever reason. As long as your baby is fed, healthy and loved, it doesn't matter how a mother feeds her baby. It's so annoying that mothers have to judge other mothers on their parenting choice. You ARE NOT a perfect mother, so get off your high horse, and mind your own.
I had no choice. I tried and my milk never came in due to a pituitary tumor.
Yeah it's dumb. As long as baby is fed that's all that matters! My mom try's to push formula on me and I'm like no I don't want him having any. If I can breastfeed then that's what he is having. I think she thinks because after a couple weeks of trying to breastfeed my brother and I and it got to be to much for her that I'm suppose to just stop breastfeeding. Like it makes her feel some type of way because she couldn't handle it.
@mommytoprincessbelle1616530, that's not cool. it is mother's choice or sometimes not even choice, but reality. No one has the right to cast the first stone.
@concrete, exactly. I had no choice! I had clogged ducts in both of my breasts. My arm pits were the size of golf balls, and my boobs grew like 3 sizes bigger over night. It came in all at once and it was honestly more painful than labor.. It hurt even worse to breastfeed. I would try and I would just bawl every time because I wanted to so badly but the pain was unbearable. So I pumped every hour for over a week straight, and I would give her my milk through a bottle. It took almost 2 weeks to get unclogged and when I finally got unclogged, I tried to get her latched again, and she did great for a couple days, I still pumped and then I ended up not being able to pump more than 2 oz in each breast. @missjess @lucybaby I'm glad you liked this :) @patti28
