has any one gone through a c section and the first child was still in their baby stage? can you still pick them up and handle them like normal?

@njja53, any chance of a VBAC? I was worried about this also but my dr said i can try a vbac

I did that on my first c section , but my kid will be one when I have my second , and I know I won't have any help with him so I'm going to have to

You aren't supposed to pick up anything(or anyone) heavier than your newborn. Easier said than done and I broke that rule pretty quickly.

I was told nothing heavier than 25lbs.
