So lately I've been wanting to eat... a lot. So obviously I've used my pregnancy as the perfect excuse and I've been eating.... a lot. Thing is, I feel awful right after I'm done. Anyone else feel like this?
I logged what I ate yesterday into my fitness pal and surprising I didn't go over my maintenance calories. 😕 Why do I feel like I've eaten so much then? I actually told my husband that I need to start counting calories again so im not over eating. H wasn't too happy. lol. He thinks the more I eat the healthier baby will be.
@ttcrainbowbaby I lost my appetite drastically during pregnancy :) Its actually still not fully returned :) I never felt like eating too...but had to..to ensure proper nutrition was going to the baby :) Didn't live on much to be honest lol but gave birth to a healthy 8lb 4oz baby! (probably all the chocolate I ate in the last few weeks) As baby gets bigger...all your organs get pushed up and squished (including your stomach) so you may only be able to manage small meals without feeling full or sick xxx
@tiffany84331 I thought it was like 200cals more for the duration of the pregnancy not including first trimester? weirdly enough though I feel like I'm eating more I'm actually barely snacking if at all. I'm just eating more at my meals. I'm trying to eat healthier more fruit and veg. currently into cauliflower and broccoli a lot and lentils and chickpeas. I have a feeling that's not helping the constant full feeling. @winterbaby95 Defo don't wanna be eating for 2. already overweight and have a high risk for diabetes so have cut down the junk food to bare minimum. I just wonder if others have had this constant full feeling. I had breakfast 3 slices of plain toast with tea but though I wanted to eat tbh I still felt full from dinner which I had at 7 last evening. I think I'm just gonna count Cals again to ensure I'm not over eating and having the rda for everything. I don't know why I feel so full. I'm not even eating more than the recommended cals to maintain my current weight. Haven't even had lunch yet. @sairainbow Thanks hun.
omg .. Such an amazing news wish you all the luck in this world 😍😍😍😍xxxxx
Midwives advise you not to eat for two lol :) They just say to eat healthy..drink plenty of water..and take your vitamins :) If you go over the limit for weight gain...it will mean you cant have a water birth if that's what you want xx
@ttcrainbowbaby, sounds like your doing well to me! just watch the farting hehe I feel like I have been a 🐷 today.
