so had a c section oct 18th due to a blockage, and rip in uterus (wasnt found until csection had taken place). went to my 2 wk incision checkup yesterday and they removed the steri strips. said everything looked great. i had one spot that looked like it was opening up and i asked about it and she said "its closed this is just an overlap. it fucking hurts! its exposed meat and wasnt stitched up right. my incision is jagged and that spot is going to leave a skin tag thats about the size of my thumbnail. i asked what can be done about it and she said nothing. keep it clean and dry and itll heal eventually.
pic attached i mean wth kinda close up is this? i was assured it would be a straight line, and be completely closed up.
i had my appt Wednesday which is when they removed the strips and checked it. im gonna make an appt at a different dr office and get another opinion.
@mcrowell0970, mine did too, they glued it and then put the strips on it... they said to just let the strips fall off on their own
@kiml7613, that should not look like that!! you need to be seem asap... mine always from day one was just a line
go to another hospital ER hopefully they'll do somthing about it
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Went and had my miscarriage consultation appointment. I told the ob about the spotting and everything and wondering if it could be implantation bleeding. He said its not likely to get pregnant that soon after a miscarriage but its possoble that its what it could be. Still made me so depressed like way to crush my hopes.
(Thread Closed) Nighttime feedings
So I got this awesome bottle warmer that has a cooling chamber so you don't have to go to the fridge for a bottle. My husband told his co-worker about it and she asked why we needed it if I'm going to breastfeed. He said its for when I start pumping so he can help with feedings at night. She then said he shouldn't have to get up and help because I don't work.
Maternity leave
Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier
