Hi Ladies! 👋👋 let's try this again, since i didn't get any response the first time. 😒...For those of you with older babies (1 years old) and did or are still breastfeeding, do you still pump? My daughter is 1, or to be exact she's 15 months lol. I'm a SAHM,and pump mainly for when we go out or if someone watches our daughter. She is drinking whole milk now too. She still nurses 3- 4 times a day, maybe 5 (if she wants to comfort nurse) anywhere from 5-15 mins. I pump a few times a week only in the Morning before I get my daughter. I was getting about 6 ozs and now I'm getting 4-5 ozs. somwtimes I may pump a second time I the evening before bed but I only get like 1oz. So it went down a little, as far as you am pumping goes. I'm trying to decide if I should continue pumping. I feel like I want to, but if my output keeps lowering I'm not going to get much. Idk what I would give her when we are out. we do have formula (when we had to supplement for a little) but that's only for if I HAVE TO, like if we don't have milk or she drank what I had on me while we are out. Why does this seem like such a hard decision?!😩😩

@snb1121 well I plan to keep nursing as long as my daughter wants to. or at least until she's 2
I think it all depends on how long u want to nurse bc I'm pretty sure she could go to strictly whole milk(if you wanted)

@sam.g I'm just so terribly lazy with pumping through the day. 😫 lol I'm just trying to decide if I really should/or need to continue pumping. it does makes me feel good to know I can have some of milk for her though when she needs it. I feel like I'm making it harder than I need to😅😅 I'm not going to stop nursing until she decides she wants to stop though.
What if you pumped a few times in a day to see if that will increase it?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

@rosalinasmami, I used to pump I just got sick of it so I just nurse my son is 9 months... he does other foods like veggie sticks and I've been trying Gerber graduates lil meals he nurses about 3 times a day plus we cosleep so he nurses a lot at night ... 2 of the 3 times during the day he's nursing to sleep for naps
