Anyone on here a mom to a child with ADHD? I need someone to talk to 😞

@kateyez5, yes same here he was behind. But you know what got to me? When he came home from school he very first day he took it and said "thank you mom I FINALLY finished my work on time and I was able to think and I didn't have to leave the classroom " 😱thats when I knew I was helping him more than anything.

If he is asking for help then it's serious.. I'm glad your doing what's best. I could care less what my family thinks.. it started affecting my sons reading he was getting behind because he couldn't concentrate to retain the information

@kateyez5, its a very hard decision to make!! Especially when your family thinks it is not necessary. But when my son came and asked for help I just knew i had to! I think I would be doing him.more harm not giving it to him.

Took me years before I broke down and tried medication. I home school my kids so I only give meds when we are doing schoolwork

Both of my sons have ADHD 12 and 8

@alyssa90, my son was very forgetful, he could never follow through with something a simple task. Such as putting his shoes on distracted my little.things. Always doing the same thing over and over again

My daughter is 6 and sometimes I wonder if she is. what r some signs of it?
