Anyone have any burping tips? I breastfeed Edith and burping on shoulder doesn't work well. The football hold is okay but she cries and cries when I do that... which I'm sure is normal especially for a week old. I'm just constantly afraid I'm going to hurt her, she's so tiny 😩

Your username😂 Okay sorry back to your question. My cousin told me to hold my son on my lap with my hand on his belly and lean him forward so my hand is basically pushing into his belly. He would burp soooooo good

I like to burp with them sitting on your leg head propped on your hand. then I could at least see the spit up come out lol

what @mdomke22 said and then you can also kind of lightly bouncr your knee if baby wont burp... it works every time... not hard just ever so slightly

My sons pediatrician had shown me a new way to burp. Sit baby on your lap support babys Cheeks with hand and slowly move baby in a circle motion and it worked for me about every time. It's probably better to explain with video lol

what @mdomke22, said...this is how they do it on NICU and with all premature babies and works best for me...I have done this with all 3 of my kids and I got them to burp faster
