So CPS showed up at our house today because my fiances crazy mother called them stating a bunch of lies because we wont let her see our son! They came in asked questions and looked around the house then stated that they see no reason for her ro have called them and asked us why she would think we werent fit to be parents and that our home wasnt safe. So we had to go through the process of telling them that shes Bipolar, off her meds, and no longer seeing a therapist. So then they asked why we wont let her see him. So we answered truthfully. She steals and lies, shes off her meds, shes physically assaulted both me and my fiance multiple times, she has a serious drinking problem, and at her last family therapy session we attended with her, her therapist stated that she thought she might be a paranoid schizophrenic with severe PTSD and an anger disorder. Shes not been to therapy since that appointment nearly six months ago and has been off her meds for at least 4 months now. Shes called and made threats, stating that she wants to hurt me and kidnap our son, which I have saved in my voicemail. Longs story short, shes a danger to our child. After all or this one of the social workers had the nerve to tell us we should still let her see him! SMH. The other one completely understood and said they won't be taking her calls seriously anymore. Found out shes called them 8 times since he was born. Hes not even a month old yet. Seriously done with that bitch.

Wow how crazy you have to deal with that. Is it even any of their business why you choose not to let her be around him anyway? I mean that seems more like a court/legal matter and no judge would rule in favor or her having visitation rights after all that crap plus all her therapy stuff is documented too.

My oldest's great grandparents were court ordered to inspect our place but they didn't and they told the court that our place is a fire hazard but any place can catch fire and the judge said to have someone from DCS come and inspect and that happened after my youngest was born because they have guardianship of my oldest

I would've flipped! You guys need to keep her crazy ass away from you guys that's insane! What's going through her mind ??? "If I can't have him no one will" that's what it seems like. If u guys can get protective orders against her or something I would she's a danger to your family and doesn't deserve to see your child after trying to get him taken away. Sorry you have to go through this

We are looking in to getting protective orders for me and our son. For me since shes threatened to end my life and for him because shes threatened to kidnap him. But the problem is that the lawyer we saw said that it would be a hard case because shes off her meds and mentally ill. So a defence lawyer will claim that she cant be held accountable for what she says or that she couldnt have meant what she said because shes not mentally fit. And that if we open this can of worms we will also have to go through court again to make sure she cant get visitation rights if we cant get protective orders since she will most likely try to get visitation rights if we Cant get restraining orders. @mrscruz0530
