Okay so with the Nuva ring when you take it out to have a period & you have intercourse are you protected ? Cause the doctor told me some people take it out when they have sex & put it back when they're done .. doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of BC?

You can also just put a new one in never have a period that what I did I would just take the old one and put the new one right in.
