good luck hun, stay calm, you will be completely fine. if you need to talk once they have put the first pessary in, then give me a shout :) been there myself, and I no how scary it is, but just think you will have your bundle of joy in your arms very very soon. Lots of love sending your way 😚😚 xxx
yes, stop over thinking, I no its harder said than done, as I'm the biggest over thinker going 😂 if it helps, I had my first pessary put in on the Monday afternoon and my daughter arrived on the Wednesday afternoon. the first pessary didn't work, they then put the 2nd one in on the Tuesday morning at 7am. I was 2cm dilated by Tuesday 11am. they then transfered me to the labour ward around 1pm on the Tuesday. put me on the drip, broke my waters. contractions started. ended up having an epidural early hours of Wednesday morning as I was only 5cm dilated, she just wasn't dilating and I was in so much pain. the epidural was a God send. I managed to have a few hours sleep and so did my mum and partner. the Dr then checked me on the Wednesday morning, I still wasn't fully dilated, they then started discussing emergency c-section. after an hour or so, the Dr came back and checked me to determine if they was taking me down and I was FINALLY fully dilated and had at her 13.31 :) she was tiny, a 5pound 9 ounce and i had her at 37 weeks, and she was perfect, nothing wrong with her at all. I'm sure they should of done a c-section alot earlier but anyway. and then I came home on the Thursday :) that's my induction story xx
