So I havnt been on here in nearly a week and my my what a week it has been, I went into hospital on Sunday to be induced, for the propess in and absolutely nothing happened within the 24 hours so they decided to take me round to the labour ward to break my waters and start me on syntocin but it was a further 12 hours until they could get me a bed so taking us to Tuesday morning, things were fine for the first few hours I was dilating and contracting the way I should be until 1pm, after 10 hours of labour my body just couldn't cope anymore and I was forced to have an epidural, this worked well until 7pm when I was fully dilated and ready to push, something inside me flipped and I started freaking out begging for a section and to be put to sleep but they made me keep going until 8.30 when her heartbeat started going crazy, next thing I new about 4 different doctors were round me and I was signing consent forms to be rushed into theatre for an emergency forceps delivery with possible section if it wasn't possible, I had a crazy crazy panic attack but at 9.15pm my beautiful daughter Leah was born weighing 9lb 2oz, I got out of hospital on Wednesday night but then unfortunately was readmitted on Thursday night with sepsis, unfortunately it didn't end there as I was supposed to get home today until I was diagnosed with PND, they were still going to let me go if I really really wanted but I decided to stay and send Leah home so as I can fully rest before going home tomorrow but then another midwife came round and was on about staying until Monday! Not sure when I'll stay until but atleast I'm on the mend
