My son was like that... we were using a nipple shield for the first few weeks because we couldn't get a great latch but as I started to wean him from the nipple shield he latched perfectly onto my left breast but he would fuss and bite and have a very difficult time latching to my right breast. I thought he was playing favorites lol 😂 He eventually outgrew his preference and he latches on his own to both breasts just fine :)
