Doing the diabetics testing today and can't eat anything until I'm done. I don't go in until 330.

That doesn't sound right. Did they say it was fasting? There's no way they should be allowing a pregnant woman to go that long without eating something. Also, if you happen to be diabetic....that could send you into a seizure or coma if you don't eat and your sugar gets too low.

I'm getting tested to go see if I am diabetic. It doesn't sound right to me either.

I would have called again and asked. My doctor never had me fast except for the 3hr test and because of the need to fast for that one they do the test at like 7am

@arivera64, @mcrowell0970 @banigallardo1123 yes with the diabetes test you have to fast for 12 hours... its standard... nothing to eat or drink except maybe very small sips of water

it all depends on the doctor- with all of my pregnancies ive had to fast- @mcrowell0970 the thing is, she has a dick of a doctor because I always get the first 8am appointment for my blood draws because you shouldn't have to suffer like that when pregnant- if it were me I would call and reschedule- telling them i want the first appointment of the day

@b3autifulm3ss, the thing was that the place where I have to go told me to go in at 330 Monday through Friday. If I go in on Saturday I would've have to go in at 7 am but since my boyfriend only has today off that's why I'm going in at 330 and couldn't eat at all.

@banigallardo1123, oh I'm sorry- glad you survived- im not looking forward to mine... yes I know you, it's super hard on me because I'm hypoglycemic

@b3autifulm3ss well I'm stuck in here for an hour and then I get tested. But the drink wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
