when or can I start giving my daughter a sippy she is six months ftm tia
Where I work, we're told to not give infants water under 8 months. I doubt it would help with spit up anyway, they just grow out of that normally when their tummies adjust.
That's awesome that she sits and hold her bottle. She would do great with a sippy! Try one kind that doesn't require suction to get the liquid out at first, so she understands what the cup is and how to use it (if you turn the cup upside down the liquid should drip/leak out). And once she has mastered it you can switch to the no spill cups that she has to suck out of! Good luck!
she can sit up by herself and hold her own bottle, will it help her spit up if I give her water?
Or her formula/breastmilk/whatever is in her bottles. There is no specific time to begin offering a silly cup. Just offer it and encourage them to hold it with their hands if you're not already doing that with their bottles. I would say they should only get it if they are able to sit on their own though. If you're leaning them back to give them the cup because they can't sit and hold it then why bother, give them a bottle lol.
ok thank u @spazzy_jazzy
