Sydney is almost 2 months!! OMG where did the time go. Oh yeah it's been blurred by endless nights of feedings, tired eyes, gassiness, and a backwards sleeping schedule. But overall she's a great baby. She was 5lbs 3oz when she was born. She stopped breathing 2x and was pumped for meconium stained fluid. I kept telling the doctors something wasn't right but they didn't do anything even though I was high risk. She stopped growing inside me around 35weeks. I had her 38w2d 12 days early. They had to rule out sepsis and they called her grow stop as intrauterine growth restriction. My pregnancy was extremely tough. There was complications during the delivery and birth but it only took 9hrs to have her. I had to have 2 epidural. The first didn't work. I am a Recovery Mommy 2 years clean. Pain meds were NOT an option. Mommy got an infection when I gave birth which I hope clears up soon. She spent days in the NICU with blood sugar drops and highs, high bilirubin, bili-lights on her, went through 3 types of formula because of lactose intolerance, and the car seat made her heart rate drop and oxygen drop tremendously. Today she is growing like a weed🌾 She knows her name, she is "talking" like crazy, all smiles, loves being outside and hates being strapped down in anything. I love my daughter with all my heart body and soul , even if she left me boobless, assess, and tired 😂 I never thought I would have kids because my addiction controlled everything. I gave birth 4 days (August 25, 2016) before my 2 year "anniversary" of me almost losing my life to an overdose (August 29, 2014). God had a plan for me.
