Hello everyone! I have really stressful questions.....
Yesterday was my due date and I had a cervical sweep (I had reduced baby movements, so doctor decided that I'm in early stage of labour and need it).
I also had internal examination and CTG- everything was perfect (but movements).
After I went home, I was really stressed and scared, baby moved through the evening and night, but his moves was so weak and slow. And also I had a plenty of Braxton hicks - really uncomfortable but not regular contractions that feels like period pain.
And now I woke up, baby is moving like always - I see and feel him. I don't have any contractions at all. But I have a pink/light brown discharge. (Yesterday it was ok after sweep, but now is it?).
So I have questions:
1) is this discharge normal?
2) is it normal that my labour didn't start after sweep?
3) WHATS GOING ON?! 😭😭😭😭

Sounds like the pink tinge discharge could be your show (totally normal!) yes it's normal that you haven't gone into labour after a sweep, they don't always work straight away. Don't worry as long as baby is moving well, baby will come when ready xx
It sounds normal to me I had a sweep and went another 6 days till my lb came. And it sounds like your discharge is normal maybe worth giving your hv or midwife a ring they will soon tell you. Keep moving and run up the stairs like a crab hopefully your baby will be here soon!! Good luck!!!!!
