Any of you mommas use cloth diapers? I've had no problems with the disposable diapers we use (sams club memebers mark brand), but seeing some of the reports about glass being found in diapers and the chemical burns, it kinda scares me. I wanna try out cloth diapers, I know very little about them and what brands are good. What brand do you use and what all do you need for cloth diapers?
I use cloth diapers and love them. there is many different types of cloth diapers so you may want to do a little research on them and figure out what would work best for your family. different types of diapers can be more or less expensive. I personally use pocket diapers and love them. I love fuzzibunz brand the best. what you need to get started really depends on what type of diaper you choose to use but the basics are diapers, inserts or prefolds, tide original powder for cleaning, coconut oil as a diaper rash cream since it is cloth diaper safe, a wet bag for out and about and a pail liner. I use a trash can with a liner in it by the changing table to throw diapers in. keep in mind cloth diapers can be a tad spendy upfront but you save so much money in the long run. plus there is no chemicals and not as much waste. check out mama natural on YouTube she has a bunch of videos on cloth diapers so does naturally thrifty mom. they are who I learned from. it may seem overwhelming at first but i think it's worth it. good luck mama!
I was checking out the honest company diapers and I like what I've heard about them but hubby if iffy on the whole subscription thing, he freaks about giving credit card info online. I may get their sample box to try them out, I love how they have organic ones! @dylansmom
I will check them out! I think I've heard of them, just never knew what they did. @edomke
Lil helpers are great! You can find them on Facebook. They are very great with customers and reply within hours
