Does anybody know approximately when the clingy stage of newborns slows down? I love that my daughter wants me all the time, but it's hard because I can't get anything done. She HAS to be on me at all times. I can't set her down without her waking up and even when she wakes up she wants to eat again. She won't take a pacifier so I'm out of luck with that.

Shes going through the growth spurt. Its normal. Some babies go for a couple days, some babies go for weeks.

@andrewsmommy, She's been clingy for about 2 weeks. The first 3 weeks were great. She slept in her boppy lounger, swing, & rock and play, but she won't anymore. She has to sleep in bed with me or she won't sleep at all. As soon as she's in a deep sleep I'll set her down to go to the bathroom or go eat and she like knows that I'm gone and she will start crying until I pick her up and feed her even though I just fed her. I wish she would take a pacifier.

Maybe this week will be her last? She'll break out of it soon mama. Patience

same here. lol mines been sleeping in bed with me for weeks now. she will b in deep sleep then as soon as I put her down in her bassinet or 5 minutes or less later she's awake. then she just wants to eat & eat & mine WILL NOT take a pacifier either. lol.
