When you have a 4 year old so disrespectful that he throws his whole lunch in the garbage because "I don't want peanut butter sandwich, I want pizza". I'm practicing tough love and he's going hungry. Pretty sure if I was ballsy enough to try that when I was little I wouldnt have been able to sit down for a week. I am one enraged mama right now. I refuse to raise some so disrespectful and selfish.

@christimary0, yah I ended up giving him some saltines but thats all he's getting until snack time. oh and when his dad gets home from work they are going to have a conversation.

That's what I would have done. Everyone has different parenting techniques. Personally I would have lost my patience at that point too and told him to be hungry then. 👌
@bonniesue, growing up we struggled making ends meet and putting food on the table. I'll be damned if my child wastes perfectly good and healthy food because he wants to act like a spoiled brat.

I think you did the right thing. My mom always told me she wasn't a short order cook and we will eat when we are hungry. So that's what happened.
@withlovedkj, options are gone. pizza was a treat if my kids picked up their room. they didn't so they got peanut butter sandwiches, oranges, and some BBQ chips. he was upset and he told me he was going to throw it in the garbage (I didn't think he was going to do it) and I told him what would happen if he did that. this was a move to try and gain power over me. options have came and went. this is not suppose to have a bitchy tone btw :)
Hey, may I suggest that you try giving him options? Tell him, he can eat his lunch today and can have pizza another day, whichever day that he likes. He can choose the day. Let me know how he responds. @lacie92
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
