Went to the doctor yesterday thinking that ny due date wasn't until November 2, and left with a new due date of October 30 and the information that I tested positive for GBS. And the doctor said she thinks I may go even earlier than that! Anyone else have their due date moved up or test positive for GBS?

Yeah idk why I wasn't told? I had switched doctors at 38 weeks that could of been why. But yeah in the hospital they explained it to me and really it's just something pregnant women can get. We don't get symptoms or anything. They give you antibiotics so that it can't spread to the baby. Really it's no biggie I didn't really worry about it because they said it wasn't really anything to worry about. Plus I had bad contractions that made it so I wasn't thinking about it lol.
OMG @missjess that would have made me freak out!! My doctor told me it isn't a big deal and I shouldn't worry - and I'm not - but I still wish I didn't even have to think twice about it.

I did, but no one told me until I was in active labor. And he was only 3 days early. But all they do is give you antibiotics through IV. My son was fine.
no biggie at all! I had it with my 1st. they just give you an antibiotic when you're giving birth. tested negative with my 2nd.
