I enjoyed my midwifes. due to being early I had high risk obgyn and midwives in the room while I delivered along with the whole NICU team and my mom and husband

I enjoyed having midwives.

My next one I am planning on having a doula and an obgyn since my brother in laws girlfriend is a doula and we get along and she loves me like a sister

I did. The midwife I had was absolutely horrible, I had never been so happy to see the doctor get called to the hospital.

I have no idea if you HAVE to ask. I would let them be aware. I've never had a midwife. but I don't think my doctor would have a problem with it.

I ask for a midwife and I have the best they're awesome.
