I recently got off of antibiotics. While on them I had to pump and dump 😫😢😭. Now that I'm off of them my son doesn't want to latch on 😔. I keep pumping in hopes he will. Is there anything I can do to have him latch on again?

Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
Moms...I know that when your boobs get hard and engorged a few days after having the baby that’s when your milk is coming in but i need advice. I’m due in April but would like advice ahead of time since i was not successful with my son. I just stopped latching him cause he was drinking formula.. but how do you relieve that pain of them being hard? I’ve heard of people latching the baby or of them pumping then latching the baby. I’ll take any advice to be successful and actually have my milk come in because it didn’t because i did not latch my son
Those who use nipple shields...how do you like them? i can't get Gunner to latch on and he always gets so frustrated & starts to cry and cry... :( it makes me sad i cant get him to latch...so iv been pumping and putting it in bottles..
Hello mommies and mommies to be. I was pumping since my son was not latching on, I even went to a esspeciallist and he was just not latching on. So I was just pumping every 3 hours, I massage my nipples and I did skin to skin but my breast still dried up like I pump but not enough to even fill the bottom of the bottle 😢 Is there something else I can do or something I can take that would make it come back and increase it???

i think its possible to bf again. try the shield and see how that goes.

@kambam, he loves food but I guess cause I went two weeks without breastfeeding him and he would see me pump

yeah thats tough because hes getting older. more interested in solids if hes getting them

@kambam, he's already a year. My goal is to feed him until he is two. The only thing is when I offer him the boob he pushes me away and kinda cries

yeah its rubbery like a nipple. express a little milk into before he latches so he gets an instant reward

@kambam, no i don't but can go get one. Will this give him the feeling that he is being bottle fed?
